Winter Programs 2018
Building Twentyone seeks to provide programs at little to no cost to participating students. The reality is, there is a price associated with providing trained staff, supplies, and a facility to accommodate the increasing number of teens enjoying our programs. Scholarships are available to students that apply and qualify. Click here for the Scholarship Application.
The following table is a guide for the Sliding Scale Fee. By paying for a program’s total cost (Level A), you will help us keep programs available to all students, regardless of their income. Level B prices are “on your honor.” Level C prices are made in person and provide EBT (bridge card) as proof.
If you have other hardships keeping you from signing up for our programs, please let us know through our contact form. We’re happy to help!

Winter 2018 Programs
Video Game Design with Raspberry Pi: Mondays and Wednesdays, 3:45-5pm. January 22-February 28.
In a partnership with ITEC of Lansing! Students will learn how to design and code their own video game on a tiny computer (that they then get to keep)! Our partner organization, Information Technology Empowerment Center requires at least 7 students to sign up for this class. So if you’re interested, sign up soon and tell all your friends!
Thanks to a generous grant from The Jackson National Community Fund we are able to offer many need-based scholarships for this program. Please apply for a scholarship if you or your student is interested in taking this program but you cannot afford full tuition!

Using recycled books, oil pastels, scrapbook paper, paint, fabric and more, this program will offer students the chance to experiment with various artistic techniques to make their own art journal.
